The machine is controlled via a touchscreen, the design may be uploaded via USB or a computer with Ethernet connection. In this section we describe the functions of individual buttons and keys for basic operations.

Physical Screen button:

Scissor button:
Scissor button is for manual trimming. Manual trimming used during preparation/changing threads/thread breaks etc.

After a thread is threaded to the needle, hold the thread towards you and press the trim button. This will trim the thread to appropriate length and pull it back towards to thread holder:
100 deg button:

This returns the machine main axis to 100 deg, we call it the default position. Default position has to be achieved prior embroidery.
The screen will show 100 deg:

If screen does not show 100 deg, please turn the dial SLOWLY after pressing the 100 deg key, returning the head back to 100 deg. The machine will only function when it is at 100 deg.

Start Button:
This starts the embroidery process.

Stop Button:
This cancels the embroidery process.

Emergency stop button (Optional equipment):
This stops the machine, used only in emergency situation. To reset pull the button towards you and then rotate. Machine will not function without a reset of the emergency stop button.

Touchscreen operations:
Directional keys:
This is to move the design, the design frame will be green if it is in the safe area. When the design frame is red you will not be able to proceed as it is outside of your hoop area.

Design maneuver speed:
Putting it in slow mode allows you to make more precise adjustments to the design placement.

Embroidery speed selection:
This is to accelerate or decelerate the embroidery speed. Please note that not all threads are capable of max speed, some finer/older threads may require you to slow down the machine.

Parameter settings:
This is for setting machine parameters, it is not recommended to change the numbers in there unless you know what you are doing. Setting incorrect parameters or out of bound parameters could cause failures. Usually used only when a technician instructs you to do so.

File Manager:
Used to upload/download/delete your designs.

Set Color:
Sets the color to needle number.

Color change mode (Auto/Manual):
Set auto color change or manual, manual color change may be used when doing 3D embroidery on foam.

Offset:
Can be used to make removing hoop easier, you may use the offset function to move the hoop out for easier hoop removal.

Return to starting:

Go to end point:

Stitch setting:
This may be used to precisely forward or return stitches.

Design outline:
Use this to do a quick stitch outline, making sure that the design is in position and would not hit the hoop.

Manual needle change:
Used when you want to manually select a different needle.
