Edit mode

You will need to be in edit mode to change hoops, select new design, upload new design. This mode will not allow you to start embroidery.

When this button shows "edit" you are in the edit mode (red circle). Press once to change to embroidery mode.

Embroidery mode

You are ready to go! This mode allows you to do a outline of the design, offset the hoop for easier removal/installation of the hoop. Think of this as the standby-ready to go mode.

When the button shows "Emb" you are in the embroidery mode. Press once to return to edit mode.

Setting max embroidery speed

Different models have different max speeds. For the C115CS single head machine the max achievable speed is 1200spm. We will suggest you slow the speed down if you are working with more delicate material or complex design. If the thread you are using are not rated for high speed embroidery, you may need to slow down the machine to avoid thread breakage.

Please note that setting the max speed does not mean the machine will always run at max speed. The machine will determine when it needs to slow down and when it can speed up. In simple terms, the max speed setting is to set the max allowed speed kind of like setting a speed limit.

The "1200" is the maximum speed, you can lower this number but pressing the left button, and speed it up by pressing the right.

The red "0" is a live indicator of the current speed.
