Changing & choosing needles

When changing needles, please make sure that the direction is correct. Like sewing needles, embroidery needles have a front and rear side.
Steps to swap out a worn/broken needle
Step 1: Loosen flat head screw holding the needle

Once loose, needle will drop down.
Step 2:
Insert new needle from the bottom of the needle bar and then tighten the screw.
Make sure needle is facing the right direction.

Make sure the "scarf" is facing the rear.
CORITA recommends GROZ-BECKERT needles for best results.
Needle Specificaiton: DB X K5
Please use appropriate needles for the fabric that you are working on, using wrong type of needles will cause premature wear/needle breakage or even tearing of the fabric.
